Each DayEach day is an opportunity
Filled with hope and sunlight
Shining through my window
I begin to feel confident
As the light slowly brightens the room

But as the day drags on
My confidence sinks lower
And today becomes yesterday
The pain more unbearable
And my heart wails aloud

My steps become slower
As I force myself forward
The weight of the world on my shoulders
I grunt with effort
But keep my head held high

Finally I can take no more
And crumple to the ground
My tired body trembling
Sad music fills my ears
As tears begin to escape my eyes

Silently, my heart cries out
Engulfed in more than my own pain
As I lie, locked in
Train TracksHearing the whistle calling your name
You've had enough of life's cruel game
Follow the sound into the night
You no longer have a reason left to fight
The shadows urge you to turn back
But still you continue toward the tracks
It's waiting for you
You think no one will care what you do
Lights in the distance are heading your way
You remind yourself that you're not okay
Taking a breath, you walk to the rails
You hope this will be the one thing you don't fail
Another step and another breath
One more inch closer to death
And you can see it racing your way
Only a few more seconds that you have to stay
Now your life is in the hands
Nothing...Darkness.  No light, no warmth.  Nothing.
NarcissistCarefully constructing a land of lies
The horrid place you've always despised
An unworthy dictator ruling by his cruel heart
Nodding with approval as everything falls apart
But he's just a liar
Showing one of two sides
Thinking he's perfect
No one seeing what he hides

He's got the world as his slaves
Too flawless to care how he behaves
Yelling and screaming that
No one's good enough for him
It doesn't matter how you feel
'Cause to a narcissist
That's something to remain concealed

The king wanders down to the dirty lake
Thinking he cannot make a mistake
He stops at the water then falls to his knees
And he smiles as he falls i
Voice of the OutsiderI've always been on my own
Yet I didn't choose to be alone
You see me walking with no one beside me
Or maybe my invisibility makes it difficult to see

I used to speak but no one would listen
I'd be with others but part of me was missing
I kept my words locked in my heart
No one wanted to hear what I've said from the start

I'm only an outsider 'cause I don't belong
I don't fit in yet I've done nothing wrong
Perhaps you think I'm a stone that cannot feel
Maybe you even say that I'm not real

You think I'm quiet and have nothing to say
But know that you've never heard my voice until today
Yet before you judge the loner you think you
